Lura Frazey has been writing professionally for more than 25 years. Since leaving corporate America to freelance, Lura has written everything from egg cartons to online magazines. She’s ghosted for movie stars, scripted Nobel Prize winners, and turned engineering jargon into plain English.

She is co-author of Life Beyond My Body: A transgender journey to manhood in China, winner of the 2017 Lambda Literary award for Transgender Non-Fiction.

Lura shares a home in the wilds of Oregon with her long-time partner, Tim, and their rambunctious Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Charlie Stop-It. They travel as often as possible to prevent themselves from mildewing away entirely under the trees.
